Turbo Sports is a fast-growing sports, media & lifestyle brand built around high-energy events, community, and culture. We create our own events (such as Turbo Sprint, Turbo Triathlon and Turbo Cross) and integrate them into iconic professional sports moments. What started as a Average Rob brainfart, has grown into a 40,000+ strong community, with organic reach exceeding 20 million people driven by storytelling & content.

Turbo Sports is currently run by shareholders alongside full-time jobs. The brand has outgrown its hobby phase. We are now looking for a General Manager with passion for sports, marketing & business, to take full ownership and scale Turbo Sports into a leading European (and future global) sports & community brand.

The mission 

As CEO, your mission is to turn Turbo Sports into a structurally profitable, scalable company, while protecting and amplifying its soul:

  • Create world-class flagship events 

  • Expand the community with events & experiences, online and offline

  • Build long-term partnerships with brands that want to grow with us

  • Scale the brand internationally 



Your Role

You run Turbo. You’re the driving force.

We’re looking for hands-on leadership, combined with vision, execution, brand building (marketing), partnerships, and business strategy. You will operate with a founder mentality. 


What you’ll drive

1. Vision 

  • Define and execute a clear long-term vision for Turbo Sports

  • Identify new growth opportunities (events, community formats, trips, partnerships, digital products)

2. Brand & culture

  • Keep Turbo raw, energetic, fun & culturally relevant. Let is evolve across all touchpoints

  • Lead content, storytelling & positioning

3. Community & Experience

  • Scale community initiatives (community rides, social runs, meet-ups, trips)

  • Turn followers into active community members

4. Formats

  • Build iconic formatsin running, cycling, and swimming that stand out in Europe. Other sports are also very welcome. Anything can be Turbofied.

  • Oversee event execution, partnerships, and long-term planning

5. Partnerships

  • Secure structural partners and sponsors (not one-offs)

  • Build recurring revenue streams (events, partnerships, trips, merchandise, content)

6. Company

  • Build and lead a small, elite team

  • Bring structure without killing speed


You are:

  • A builder

  • Deeply passionate about sports, events, community & storytelling.

  • Equally creative and commercial

  • Comfortable with chaos and fast decision-making

  • Obsessed with quality, energy, and experience

You probably have: 

  • experience in sponsorships & partnerships

  • strong instinct for brand & storytelling

  • Digital-first mindset with strong understanding of social, content, and storytelling
